“ A very neat concept. I ordered Costa Rican food, mini donuts, and a smoothie, all from different restaurants, all for one meal. The environment is a bit underwhelming, but the food from all three vendors I tried was excellent and the vendors were very nice. ”
“ I really enjoyed the noodle place. I had the vegan garlic noodles and they hit the spot! Really nice to have a a noodle place like this. I've loved here since 2008 and this was the first noodles bowl I've had! The they have other food vendors as well. I'd like to come back to try the tamales. Clean bathrooms too! ”
“ Visited Pine Street Market for the Fall Cider Fest and it was a great event. We'll worth the price for a cider tasting. They had a lot of ciders avaliable to try. Several great food options, ramen, donuts but the Thai and dumpling places were our groups favorite. The environment was great for us to get together with friends but we sat with strangers and made new friends. Only thing is the cider line would get long. So cute and fun would go again! ”
“ This place is cool. We did the cider tour. The seating is wide open and lots of seating and multiple different food choices to pick from the drinks are awesome and this place is older school looking but it's a fun time. We will be back. ”
“ This place is reminiscent of Chelsea Market in New York City with a collection of eateries inside. One thing I really enjoy is sampling a little of this and a little of that with one table and not more than 200 paces round trip from the food pick up to my table. Portland's food scene was just an urban legend before I got the opportunity to see for myself. Pine Street Market makes it east to sample a variety of good eats with reasonable prices. The hospitality is great and inclusive and genuine. I recommend! ”
“ Really enjoyed my first experience here. I brought my oldest daughter and she was very pleased. Staff was great and the venue was clean and just a lot of good energy. I definitely wanna come back and try the places I wasn't able to check out ”
“ For sure visit this building located in the Market District. It used to be a carriage factory if you can believe it. Pine Street Market is one of the incredible repurposes of an old building an old building in Portland. Has lots to check out inside to drink and eat. This is good for lunch or even later. A place that has received many awards. It's been recognized by the city for energy conservation and retail excellence. The building has a long and interesting history. First it was known as the Carriage & Baggage Building. This operated from 1886 until the early 1900s. Horse stalls were on the second floor. The building was later the location of the Old Spaghetti Factory, and then a few nightclubs. In 2016 it opened as a market. There's many vendors including Shanghai's Best, which has dumplings and more. Cool place to go drink and eat or to even just look around. It's open daily making it convenient. This is good for a meal, shopping, and other things. ”
“ Came in twice on my trip to Portland. The first was Wed evening before July 4th and it was dead. We both got the Thai food and really enjoyed it, but not much of a vibe. I then stopped in to escape the heat on Sunday afternoon at 3, and it's hopping. I got 3 mini donuts which were all delic and a nice cold beer. ”
“ Love the new food hall in downtown Portland. Wish there was a dog friendly area. There were two picnic tables outside in full sun. Parking is a challenge. There's a pay lot for $6/hr but prefer parking kitty on the street if you luck out. Great place to take a group when you have picky eaters or can't agree on a food type. Smoothies, Thai, Ramen, Dumplings and the cutest mini donuts. YUM. They need to bus more often. It's self bussing but the trays were overflowing. ”
“ My initial impression for a market place (compared to others I've been to) is that it was on the smaller side and didn't have a lot of options but there was variety that's for sure. The establishment was rustic and cozy with a fun layout and lots of seating. Also a great video of the city! ** Matsunoki Ramen ** The food was 10/10 I would totally come back for the ramen. I've just recently in the last 2 years developed a love for (what I like to call "grown up") ramen and I just can't get enough. This dish was on their current seasonal/special menu; absolutely worth the try! The egg was cooked perfectly too. If you've never been to a market place like this before it's set up so that you can choose from a select few different restaurants in one location. You go up to the counter, order your food and pick it up at the window when it's ready. Not much "service" like typical sit down restaurants but the service staff we encountered today were friendly. 100% satisfied with my visit. Looking forward to coming back to check out the other great places inside! Especially the mini donut place! ”
